Inland Empire

Inland Empire
California's Inland Empire is the area between the southern coastal areas (Los Angeles, Orange County) and desert cities (Palm Springs). The "IE" is also known as Inland Southern California and the San Bernardino Valley, and is the largest region of Southern California. The Inland Empire has one of the most significant economies in the U.S., and consists of 2 of the fastest-growing counties in California: Riverside County and San Bernardino County.

From the Pacific Ocean to the mountain ranges of San Bernardino, Los Angeles and San Jacinto, it is possible to be swimming and playing on the beach and then skiing or snowboarding down a mountain within the hour. Because of the Inland Empire's seasonal climate and varied geography, including mountains, desert and valleys, there are endless outdoor activities to choose from.

Major cities include San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ontario. Smaller but substantial cities include Rancho Cucamonga, Montclair, Pomona, Redlands, Corona, and others.

The Inland Empire is rich in history... including Native American, Spanish Colonial, early Mexican and American.CLICK HERE for more Inland Empire History
